Why is it that recently the latest updates for most of the adobe software, are not compatible with my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), [MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.6,   Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7,   Memory 16 GB 1600 MHZ DDR3,   Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB]?

Because Apple has moved on and made three new systems since Mojave, each more different from the last. So Adobe focus their energies only on current systems. No, they don't seem to care about people stuck on old systems for any reason.

So, I just keep paying for a service that I don't receive?  This would seem like a breach of contract on the part of Adobe if they don't give a deep discount, or at the very least, some options to customers that can't continue getting the latest and greatest.   To continue as nothing is happening appears like bad faith contracting on Adobe's behalf.

Adobe assumes you have a modern OS no more than 2 versions back to use Creative Cloud.  Failing that, you're not in compliance with the min-system requirements and thus can't use the latest apps.

For best results, ensure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements.  Most apps work on:

  • Windows 11, Windows 10 versions 21H1, 20H2, 2004, and 1909 (LTSB branches are not supported);
  • macOS 12 (Monterey), macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 10.16 or 10.15 (Catalina).
