I tried to download photoshop cc but it tells me that this app is not compatible with my computer.

I have a macbook (late 2013)

its specs:

CPU: I7 4750HQ 4 cores

RAM: 8GB

GPU: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

OS: OS X Yosemite V 10.10.5

Trail members do NOT have access to older versions.  But paid members have full access to previous versions going back to CS6 (13).  So compatibility with Yosemite should not be a problem.

Just be sure to select Show Older Apps in your CC Desktop app's Preferences.  See screenshot.

You should always check system requirements, especially if running a very new or very old system.

Photoshop system requirements

System requirements | January 2018 and October 2017 (19.x) releases of Photoshop CC

macOS

  • Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
  • macOS version 10.13 (High Sierra), macOS version 10.12 (Sierra), or Mac OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan)

But there is good news, much better news than when Photoshop had only permanent licenses. A CC subscription allows you to run any of the CC versions, and if you later get up to date you can get a later Photoshop.

Older versions of Photoshop system requirements

- this shows you only have to go back to Photoshop CC 2015.

The CC app allows subscribers to optionally choose to see older versions. I can't say if this also works for trials but it is worth a try.
