Transfer 2011 Photoshop to new computer with serial number only?

I purchased Ed Edition of PhotoShop Design Standard in 2011. Now I have a new computer and want to install it there. I never registered with Adobe so they have no record of my purchase but I have the purchase email with serial number. Is there a way to transfer Photoshop to my new computer and continue using it?

What product did you buy in 2011 exactly?

There was:

Photoshop CS5.5
CS5.5 Design Standard - a Creative Suite including Photoshop and other apps

Presumably you want to install this on Windows11? It will definitely not install on a modern Mac.

also, registration is irrelevant. activation is relevant.

No... twice

1st, programs do not transfer, you must do a fresh install and use your serial number to activate

2nd, you must use the special education version to go with your education serial number, so if you do not have your original install media you are out of luck

Right, I want to install/activate my 2011 Photoshop on my new computer. No go without an original install...ehh..was it a CD back then? ; )
