I've made a introductory website in Portfolio linked to my WordPress site. Is it possible to export my Portfolio file to Wordpress?

Correct answer Nancy OShea

"Is it possible to export my Portfolio file to Wordpress?"

Short answer:  No.

Long answer: There are no files to export.  Even if you could export, Adobe Portfolio only works on Adobe's web servers. It won't work on other web hosts.

For what it's worth, I use Adobe Portfolio/Behance to compliment my main website, not replace it.

Hi Nancy

How do you use Adobe Portfolio to complement your main site? Can you do this with a Word Press site and a custom domain?

Many thanks.

Think of it this way:

  • WordPress is your primary website.  your_domain. com
  • Portfolio is a separate site for showcasing examples of your work online.  your_name . portolio . com
  • Behance is another.  behance.net/your_name
  • Social media channels are another (FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc...)

So you want to take a site that you created using Adobe Portfolio and move it into WordPress.  I think that will not work.

Most likely you will have to rebuild your Wordpress page from scratch.

Adobe Portfolio does have an area where you can contact support directly and ask them questions.  They respond in one or two days.  However.... my guess is they will tell you know 'no' as well.
