Today I received a new computer, it's a MacBook Pro. I want to transfer my windows Install of Adobe Design Premium CS5 to my new Mac. I downloaded the files, deactivated the old install and tried to install the CS5 to my Mac. The problem is: the serial number doesn't work. How can I transfer my Windows installation to my new Mac?

The only way to run CS5 on your new Mac is by setting up a Windows virtual machine using Bootcamp or Parallels or similar.

Then install and run CS5 inside the Windows environment.

Other options: upgrade to CS6 for Mac or join the Cloud.

Serial numbers are operating system specific.  Also, the windows version of the software will not work on a Mac.  There is no option to swap platforms for older versions, only the most recent which is CS6.  You will need to find a Windows emulator if you want to use the CS5 software on it that you own.
