Transferring program to another computer

I've used Photoshop for years, starting with Version 5.0.  The program is presently running OK on my old Windows XP computer, and has been upgraded to 7.0.

I want to run Photoshop on my Windows 10 computer.  I am registered as

    You install programs exactly the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked

    and you may need to use compatibility mode when installing (depending on whether your ps is incompatible with win 7).

    My new Mac computer does not have a slot to insert a disk.

    then download the installation file.

     

    adobe download links prior to cc 2020 are available from prodesigntools.com. https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html

     

     

     

    follow the directions (esp, step 1)

    save the install file.  it may not remain online.
