Trasfering Elements from one computer to another

I have Elements 11 on one computer and want to "transfer" it to a new computer. How do I do this? I have been told I have to re-install it. Will my images be retained? If I do have to reinstall how do I get a CD to do it rather than via the internet (this was a chore the last time. Thank you,

    you will need to migrate your catalog to your new computer. http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/backup-restore-move-catalog-photoshop.html

    then deactivate pse (help>deactivate) in your old computer if it's no longer needed there.  then uninstall it.

    install it on your new computer.
