Trial version of Animate CC blocked because of previous expired Edge Animate trial

Hi, I installed a trial version of Edge Animate some time ago. Around that time Edge was terminated so purchase decision was postponed. This trial is logically expired but blocks the opportunity to install a trial version of Animate CC, the successor. What can I do to overcome this problem?

Great suggestion but that's not quit what I had in mind.

Best regards

Hi Std1234,

It's odd that Edge Animate would block a trial of Animate CC, since the two are entirely different. It may be worth Contacting Customer Care‌ via chat or phone to see if they can offer an explanation or solution.

That said, if your trial for Animate CC has really expired, it cannot be reset. You could potentially try the CC2014 version of Flash Professional. It won't have exactly the same features, but you could get an idea of the software. You can direct download the 2014 trial here: Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2014 Release | ProDesignTools.

Best,
