Trouble Signing into Creative Cloud

I can't sign into the desktop app for Creative Cloud. I have a gmail account so it asks me to put in my email and then s continue using gmail. When I continue to gmail, it opens a new tab to log into my email, tells me that I'm all set and to log into the desktop application, but then I get an error message saying that I'm not signed in and to try again.
there l isn't an option to actually put in my password. I've tried to click the reset password button, but nothing happens. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app. I've cleared my browning history, cookies, and cache. I've restarted my computer. 

Doea anyone know how to resolve this issue?

You should have been given an option to sign in without using Google.
Read it closely.
