Trouble with creative cloud manager

I want to trial and probably pay for Lightroom/photoshop CC.  I currently have lightroom 6 but want to incorporate photoshop.  I obviously do not want to remove lightroom 6.

My initial problem was that i was trying to install photoshop from the website but the screen stuck at "downloading" and did not download / install anything.  I assume that it was trying to install the manager which i already have... is this correct?

So i tried to open my version of CC Manager and it wants to update.  I tried to update and install, but every time (at least 6 times!) it starts it but just quits at about 80% ish completed.  Then when opened up again it asks to update again.  I cannot see any apps in the CC Manager.  Does that mean that there are no apps installed or is it just because it wont let me look because it wants to install the update?

Should i uninstall CC Manager? Is it corrupt?  Should i uninstall it using the cleaner?  I have no idea what to do and find it very difficult to find help to be able to point me in the right direction?

Correct answer Govardhan.V

You may use Adobe Cleaner tool or CC Uninstaller and then remove Adobe Creative Cloud and reinstall the same.

CC Uninstaller :

Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

Adobe Cleaner tool :

Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Still same?? let us know .

Hello

Thanks for the help.  I have tried the initial uninstall and it gives me the following message: Unable to uninstall creative vloud desktop as it is busy.  Please try against after some time"  I love the generic "some" time! It cannot get more vague than that!

Creative cloud desktop is not running on my machine.  I don't know whether i should skip this and go straight to tool cleaner to clear it from the system?

Thanks
