Trying to cancel Student-Teacher Edition?

I chatted with an Adobe Customer Service Representative online about two days ago and they kept telling me that I couldn't cancel my account and then they also told me that they could give me next month free, although I don't use creative cloud anymore. I told them no and they told me that the only option that I have is to wait until August to cancel my subscription. I called today and a customer service rep told me the same thing, but he didn't even offer me a free month, he just told me that I have to wait and and that if I cancel it now, i have to pay an extra $19.99. I really just wanna cancel my account now without any fees because I'm tired of my mother yelling at me to try to get a refund and it's really irritating trying to explain to her why I can't because I have to "wait until August".

I feel you for you. My suggestion is to show your mother Adobe's cancellation policy:

Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order

Along with what you agreed to when you gave Adobe your credit card:

Terms and Conditions | Adobe

A lot of companies offer products via subscription these days. The lesson here is to carefully read the cancellation policy prior to entering your credit card number, and before clicking the checkbox that says I agree to these terms and conditions—it's legally binding.
