Trying to download Idcc, keep getting message "Unable to reach Adobe servers..." with advice to check my firewall settings (my firewall is off.) Now I see that Id is downloading, but I have no sign of it on my desktop.

Question

It's my new iMac, restored CC account, no trouble downloading two apps, but trying to download Id, I get a repeated "Unable to reach Adobe servers" with advice to check my firewall settings (they're off) and try later.  Just noticed on an Adobe CC page, that "InDesign is downloading now..." but I see no status bar or other evidence of a download.  What to do?
