Ive been using Lightroom 4 for years now, so i obviously had an upgrade installer serial number for L3 at the time. I just don't have it anymore

If your Adobe account does not show the serial number, that means you never registered the program so the number would be entered in the Adobe registration database

If you can't find your original CD case/sleeve with the serial number sticker, I know of no way for Adobe to be able to give you any information

I have the serial number for Lightroom 4 which was purchased as an upgrade to Lightroom 3, but not the L3 numbers anywhere. However, its telling me I need to enter both serial numbers to be able to use my current Lightroom 4 on my new computer. I have the original purchase receipt and product number for L3 however. How can this not be good enough for them too allow the installation ?? I have obviously paid my money for the use of both programs !

The upgrade installer MUST have a prior serial number to work

Since nobody here can help, you will need to contact Adobe on Monday

Chat/Phone: Mon - Fri  5am - 7pm  (US Pacific Time) <=== NOTE DAYS AND TIME

Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link below

Serial number and activation support (non-CC)

    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html

If you are able to chat with someone who can give you a serial number, but sure to put ALL of your serial numbers in a file that you print and put in a folder in a desk drawer AND copy the file to a backup USB device (or two!)
