Trying to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 on my new laptop

I sought help because install was not complete after one hour. I was told that the install could take up to 24 hours. Is this really the norm?

Completed successful install after 2 hours and 45 minutes. Would really like to know why it took so long.

No, that is not normal... I have a desktop and the install took about 10 minutes (from DVD)
