Trying to reinstall Adobe InDesign CS3. After entering the serial number, it requires the previous Indesign serial number. I don't have a previous product. It won't proceed with the download--just let's me use the test version for 30 days.

your cs3 serial number is for an upgrade. ie, you upgraded from a previous version.

after you enter your cs3 serial number, the installer scans your computer for a qualifying (previous) version and failing to find any, prompts you for the previous version's serial number.

So if I can't find a previous version, is there any way to proceed?

do you have a legit license for that cs3 upgrade? ie, did you simply forget or misplace your previous version's serial number?
