Trying to understand how many computers I can download Lightroom 5 on??

I currently have LR 5 downloaded and activated on my laptop, which is starting to wear down (making LR slower).  From what I've read so far online, I can deactivate LR on my laptop and activate it on only one more computer/laptop (If I'm reading things correctly?).  Would I then have to purchase a new LR program to use it on another computer? =Z

Correct answer mytaxsite

All Adobe Applications can be installed and used on TWO devices at any one time.  So if you change a machine then you need to deactivate from one machine and activate it on another.

Hope this helps.

Sooo... after that?  Would I have to buy a new program to be able to download it onto another computer (even thought it would only be currently activated on one computer)?

Thanks!!

No.

Old computer: deactivate

New computer: download software (no extra cost), install and activate.

Note: Lightroom has no activation mechanism built into the software so there's no deactivate command. It's up to you to abide by the conditions of the license. Maximum two activations at any time.
