Question

trying to update Elements 6/7

Had Elements 6 (Mac) and 7(Elements). Was running it on Windows. Now I have switched to Mac, got a message that it needs to update. 1. If i previously used it on a Windows machine (now defunct), should I be able to use it on the new Mac?

Question 2. When I tried to update it, I accidently entered the Windows S/N. When I realized the error, i re-entered it with the Mac (Elements 6) S/N, but now it comes up as "multiple" with no download button. Is there a way to delete the windows registration?

I had to double-check the date of this post.  Elements 6 is ancient software from 2007!!

Your new Mac won't run that software much less install it.  To use Elements on macOS Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey, you'll need to purchase Elements 2022.

I don't think that will run on the newest Mac operating systems.
