Unable to access perpetual license for Acrobat Pro 2020 Win ESD (Canada)

My company and I have used the same license keys for many years now, but ive recently lost access to one, as it had been activated on two previous devices and we failed to deactivate the product before decomissioning and losing access to the device. Due to this, we have reached the product limit, with no way to deactivate the license keys.
I need to regain access to the license.
I am unable to find the product on my account, as it has been passed through a few accounts within the company and we are unsure which one it could be under currently

there's no work-around: you have to use a computer with an activation to deactivate.

 

there are ways to retrieve your serial number, but it's moot with an excess activation count message.

That's why, hopefully, a legit company-wide system audit will let them find that last errant system with that license and maybe — maybe — reclaim it for the new system. Or failing that, find another Acrobat install to spare somewhere in the license(s) they've distributed across the company.

 

All they could do is get lucky, right?

You can't find the product on your system? Like, you don't know which serial number your system is using?

 

If you're on a Windows system, there are tools that can help. I'd suggest you get a copy of Belarc Advisor, which will allow you to perform a full system audit, including serial numbers for Acrobat perpetual license installs. It's ostensibly free for a single system, but if you buy into the service and do a system audit of all systems in the organization. That would let you document what is installed on all your systems, and build documentation so you definitively know what software is installed where in your organization.
