Question

Unable to activate CS6. My acct shows that I have no activated devices.

Previously, I have been able to use my installed CS6 software but now I'm receiving the message that the serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. When I look at my account where this software is registered it shows that I have no activated devices. So, how can I deactivate a device if there are no devices activated?

I do have another account with another email where I have subscriptions to Adobe Pro and Lightroom/PS. I'd love to have them all under one account but I'm not sure how to do that. I also don't know if this could be causing the problem - that I'm signed in with that account in order to use the subscriptions. If that's the case, I'd really love to consolidate them!

============

Your online Adobe account keeps track of where your Creative Cloud subscription apps are activated.  You can deactivate those remotely.

https://account.adobe.com/devices

But it won't help you manage legacy Creative Suite apps. You must do that manually from the Help menu of the device on which it was installed.  If the device is no longer available, you're stuck. Adobe can't help you with unsupported legacy software. The tech in CS6 is too old.

There's no reason to consolidate accounts.  Creative Cloud is subscription software.  Creative Suite is totally separate.

ie, you have to deactivate using the computer that had an activation.  there's no workaround, so if that's impossible, it's impossible to activate your cs6.

Jaed, please see https://adobe.ly/4gqOybW for information on how to manage and utilize any remaining activation for Creative Suite 6.
