Unable to copy photo folders from my external hard drive to the Creative storage cloud

My macbook pro hard drive being full, I moved my photo folders into an external hard drive.  This is fine so far.

Now I want to copy these folders as a back-up into the Adobe storage could.

I understood I just had to copy these folders to my desktop Creative Cloud Files thinking that this is a virtual folder representing the Adobe cloud.  But in fact it is copying these folders into my MacBook Pro, which is something I do not want.  of course I have messages saying that my hard drive is full...

How can I copy my folders from my external drive directly into the Adobe Cloud without having them stored in my laptop ?

I am sorry, but what I meant in my previous message is how to get to that page.

What I did is as follows

1. www.adobe.com/ca/creativecloud.html

2. click the little portrait icon shwing my name

3. Click manage Account

4. Put my password and then OK

5. Click again on my name

6. Then I see 3 columns :

6.1 Creative Clouds Apps

6.2 Assets

6.3 Adobe Stock

Out of these 3 columns I felt the first oane would be more pertinent, then I clicked on Creative Coulds Apps

I see 3 options :

Desktop Downloads

Mobile

CC Exchange

Nowhere I was able to find this page/window you are showing in your message.

So What I need is the exact path froth the begining when clicking on the Adobe main web site to get there.

Thanks in advance

The CC desktop app is an application installed on your computer  - not something on the Adobe website.

It is used for installing and uninstalling applications, managing Typekit fonts, etc.

I don't use a Mac, but I guess there should be a shortcut for it in the dock.

If you for some reason don't have it, you can download it here:

The Creative Cloud Files folder is a regular folder, and needs to contain the files you want to upload to the cloud - it works the same way as Dropbox. You can change the location of the folder in the CC desktop app's preferences.
