Unable to deactive CS5

Hi.

I just plan on wipe out the hard drive from my old laptop (Sony VAIO EA37) to upgrade to Windows 10 (from Windows 7 Home Premium), then processed to deactivate all software license. But then I have trouble deactivate my Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium, as well as Acrobat 9 Pro.

Following the troubleshooting guide, I try to update the Adobe Application Manager, make sure all application is update to date ( your application are all up-to-dates as checked: less than a minutes ago. then open Adobe Photoshop 5 extended -> Help -> Deactivate, bring up the Deactivation Dialog. Now, either Suspend Activation, or Deactivate Permanently, lead to "Deactivation was not successful. please try again" with Error Code: 194:6‌.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro also experience exact same problem ("Deactivation denied" with exactly same error code)

After looked up all troubleshooting from CS6 to CS5, I contact Customer Service chat (if you need to case number, I could provide), then the staff point me out here (but she/he said I'm fine to uninstall the application first then ask for support here - I'm in the middle of system upgrade process, mind you.).

Currently I have 2 computer installed the CS5 Web Premium - one for my desktop (still installed, although I've experience update issue couple months ago without resolution, I just ignore that), and one for my laptop (which I want to uninstalled first before doing a clean Windows 10 upgrade.).

Could you help me resolve this issue?

you probably don't have to deactivate if there's no hardware change.  but if you want to try and resolve that problem,

Error "Deactivation was not successful..."
