Unable to download Acrobat Pro XI as installation file is damaged

When trying to download the trial version of Acrobat Pro XI, I get the message "Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new  installer file from the application owner."  This exact error message does not show up in the errors and solutions page. Please advise how I can download an installation file which does not corrupt. I have tried both the US and Australian download pages. Thank you.

    Dear Sheena

    Thank you for providing this link. I apologise but in my subject line I

    neglected to say that it was the trial version that I was unable to

    unload. Also, I was mortified to find that my real name, not my screen

    name, showed up in the forum. This is a very high security risk. Can you

    please advise what I can do about this?
