Unable to download trial version of Illustrator

I downloaded the adobe illustrator free trial, but when it finishes downloading on my MacBook (OS Mojave),  it just disappears. The file just disappears and there is no application to click into. I've tried so many times to fix this. i've re-downladed the file five times and it never works. It just downloads and when I click on the file, it attached itself and them just disappears. I would be so grateful if anybody can help me with this.

Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to run Creative Cloud desktop app and Illustrator CC?  See links below

Does your Mac user account have administrative level permissions necessary to install software?

Did you re-start your computer after installing?

Is your computer's clock set to the current date and time?

Understand why Adobe trial software expires or ends early
