I'm trying to install my PPro CS6 product (new computer) but the links aren't giving me everything.

I get the error message that the archive content is missing.

Just tried google and apparently it's a Microsoft Edge problem

Redownloaded files using Chrome and now have the .7z files.

    Thanks

These are the files I have from the download links:

    PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.exe        1 200 KB

    PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.txt      750 907 KB

    PremierePro_6_LS7.exe                         986 KB

    PremierePro_6_LS7.txt                 1 194 998 KB

I don't remember what they SHOULD be, but the .txt on the end of the files is not correct

Try renaming to .7z and see if that works

Renaming doesn't allow me to change the file type

kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2509712 to download program installers

You should always mention your operating system... since you don't, notes for both Mac and Windows

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan or later operating systems

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or Sierra

--Adobe has a workaround to Apple's problem of not maintaining backward compatibility

--READ HERE https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2301916 for an Adobe solution to installing old programs, including a link to installing the old Java runtime that is required

--Also read for more information https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2458382

    --and https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/install-or-run-applications-new.html

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... this says Encore, but is sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account) so follow the instructions, substituting the name and location of your specific program for Encore

    -also https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html

I'm using windows 10 and had no problems running CS6 previously, (until my hd crashed)

Shouldn't the *.txt files be *.7z files? (See the list of files above.)
