Unable to install Creative Cloud. Is it because the drive on the MAC is Encrypted Logical Partition?

Hi

I am struggling to install creative cloud app. I keep getting error A12E5. I can't figure out where i am going wrong. My mac drive is formatted as a Encrypted Logical Partition. Would that be the problem?

So i clicked on info in disk utility and it appears to be NOT case sensitive. It says the disk is Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted). So I figure if it does not say it, then it must be NOT case sensitive.

Everytime I tried and download a trial version of LR CC, it does not complete the installation and gives me a A12E error.


Hey. Thanks for your help. I manually downloaded creative cloud app and downloaded the trial LRCC through that and it seems to be working now!

that's the problem. I don't know. I have tried to google the answer but no luck.

You can simply check under Disk Utility:

Disk Utility

Or launch Terminal from  Applications> Utilities :

Type in below command and press return key :

diskutil info /
