Unable to install Lightroom 6

Hi,

im trying to install lightroom 6 on my Mac 10.11.3 I was able to start the installation but it then crashed and whenever I tried to restart it i get a message saying it was unable to start the installation Programme and that I should download Adobe support advisor.

The programme was purchased on a CD.

    You might consider updating your OS. Apple fixed some big bugs in the versions since 10.11.3.
