Unable to install Lightroom updates (LR v5.0 and LRC v11.0) - Not Compatible

Unfortunately, I am unable to install the latest updates. When clicking on the "Not Compatible" warning, I get the message
- Please update your operating system to: Windows 10 (version 1909 or later).

Checking my system information, it says I have

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Version: 10.0.18362 Build 18362

I have had the system check for updates and it says there are none. I have also made sure my GPU driver is update to date (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M).

I have 16GB of RAM and 132 GB of hard drive space free.

Any thoughts on how to get the updates?

Chrismanphoto, I am very sorry, but you will need to update Windows 10 to a build that is 1909 or later. Unfortunately, build 1903, which is installed on this computer, has reached the End of Service from Microsoft. For more information, please see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/release-information.

I was finally able to figure out how to get past version 1903. I didn't realize that was the version I was on since it's not actually stated in the system information and the updater said there are no updates.

Go to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and get the updater. I'm able to get Windows 10 May 2021 update. I'm working on installing it now and will let you know the results.

Yes, that finally resolved it. Upgrading Windows was not straight-forward (thanks Microsoft), but I got it done and Lightroom is updating now. Thanks for the pointers.

Possibly a Windows update problem snce your updates are 30+ months out of date.

Try https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/how-to-fix-windows-update-problems-in-windows-10/

Or visit a Microsoft forum to get your Windows installation up to date.

You guys do realize that there are people who use build 10.0.17763 (LTSC 2019) which is officially supported till 2029? I don't know if it's something that was left out by mistake od deliberately but considering what John Waller wrote, I assume you should allow users to install the software on the system that's supported by the vendor at the time when the LrC update is released.
