Unable to install, unable to use, unable to uninstall!

Why hello there!

A friend of mine bought and tried to install Creative Cloud and first of all she gets the dreaded loading spinning circle, but not like I've seen in other screenshots. The dropdown menu is totally empty except for the loading icon

We tried uninstalling, but was unable to because it told us the software was in use, which it wasn't. I deleted all the files and folders and then we tried installing again, but it seems like it failed, because it was over in about 5 seconds.

Then suddenly we get this error message when trying to install:

"Adobe Creative Cloud is neede to solve this problem, but it is missing or damaged. Download and install a new copy at"

What to DO?

Thank you for sharing the update, as per the cleaner tool there is nothing related to Adobe installed on your machine as of now, hence i would recommend you to follow the steps shared in the following thread, these steps will help remove any left over files and folders that could be causing trouble: illustrator reinstalling free trial 1 day old!

I understand your concern, as you have mentioned you are having trouble installing and uninstalling Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app i would recommend you to follow the steps shared in the following help document:"Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

Sorry for the very late reply.

Thanks for the answer but unfortunately it does not work. When trying to clean, there is a one file "Fix Host File" that will not be cleaned up.
