Unable to install valid Photoshop CS4 license

Dear community,

I have an old Photoshop CS4 which worked fine for me for years.

Got a new computer, had to reinstall.

When I wanted to install it accepts my CS4 serial number,

but not my CS3 serial number, where I upgraded from.

Adobe Support could not help me.

Any ideas?

Depending on the installed operating system on your new computer it's possible that you can't install CS4.

CS4 isn't compatible with the newer versions of Windows and MacOS

You must enter the CS4 product serial first, then the CS3 product as "qualifying product". If you had a replacement CS3 license without activation, you cannot use this license; you must use the ORIGINAL CS3 license.
