Unable to open Elements 12 and Premier 12

Elements 12 was working one day and not the next. Now I am unable to access either program, Elements or Premier Elements. I have uninstalled the programs and re installed them, however it has not made any difference. When I try to open Elements, the Organizer/photo editor page comes up. It will not go any further. It comes up with an add to upgrade to the 2024 version. I thought when I bought the program years ago, that I would have it forever, unless the software became incompatible with window updates.

I have the program on discs, it was not downloaded, so there should not be any time restrictions on the program.

Can someone please help.

    What changed... did Windows do an update?

     

    What are the details of your computer and operating system?

     

    Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
    Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
    .

    -for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver
    -To achieve the highest level of reliability, Studio Drivers undergo extensive
    -testing against multi-app creator workflows and multiple revisions of the top

    If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
    -SOME laptops require an approved driver from the laptop company, not nVidia

    Thank you. Adobe technicians say PhotoshopE12 and PremierE12 is not supported by them and the server is now unavailable, so I have upgradedd to Elements 2024.
