Unable to register Photoshop CS6 -- "your access was temporarily disabled"

Four days ago, re-installed my old copy of Creative Suite 6 on a Windows machine following a hard driove failure and despite having a valid serial number associated with my account, I'm unable to register the application. This doesn't only affect Photoshop but all Adobe CS6 software instaleld on my computer.

When launching the app, I'm greeted with a dialog box asking me to sign-in before the trial expires, and when doing so -- using valid credentials -- I'm met with a message informing me that "for security reasons your access was temporarily disabled."

I've tried repeatedly but my account remains "disabled". I should add that I am able to log into the Adobe website just fine using the exact same credentials. Hopefully there's a solution to this that doesn't involve having to update to CC.

Update or anyone else experiencing this:
- @Nancy OShea (thank you!) provided a link that let me talk to Support via chat, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
- Support claims to have re-enabled my account and in four to six hours (as of approximately 5:00PM Eastern Daylight Time) my account will be unlocked and I should be able to log in and complete the activation process

- I am skeptical, however, because Support claims this happened due to an incorrect password, but I use a password manager and I copied & pasted the password from the manager, so we'll see

Second update:
For whatever reason, the link to chat with support only work if I'm not signed in. I need to sign out in order to chat with support. Surely that can't be by design

Probably due to the fact that CS6 is unsupported.

I have no problems reaching support because I'm a Creative Cloud subscriber. 🙂

Activation of legacy software depends on these things.

1) Original installation disks you received at purchase.

2) A valid serial number that's compatible with your disks.

3) A computer OS that can support legacy software from 10+ years ago.  CS6 isn't certified to run on Win11 or any modern Macs since Catalina.

4) Modern TLS security protocols to connect with Adobe's activation servers.

5) Unused activations available.  If you've exhausted your activation count, contact Adobe Support and ask for an activation count reset. If they give you any trouble, ask for a supervisor to assist you.

Thank you for the advice. And I appreciate the link to chat because it doesn't appear when I navigate to the "Contact Support" page via the Adobe.com site.

In any event, I'd once again like to stress that everything was working just fine in Windows 11 until a system failure forced me to reinstall the OS, which wiped all installed applications. It's only now, going through the re-installing everything process, that my account is showing as disabled. Last week, everything was working perfectly.

I can't help you.  CS6 is discontinued & unsupported software.  It was never certifed or tested on Win11.  It might work, it might not. That's the risk you take with legacy software.

At some point, you'll need to get modern software.  You can't keep using legacyware forever.  😕😕

You registered it when you purchased, there's no need to do that again. It's already registered.

Activation is something else, but that happened silently in the background with CS6, no user action required.

It sounds like you're trying to sign in to a CC account, which, I gather, you don't have and don't want.
