Unable to Register Serial Number of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017

I purchased  Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017,  new in its original sealed box.  I was able to install it; but when I try to register my serial number,  I get a message stating that my serial number is invalid.   How do I fix this?

your serial number should be 6 groups of 4 numbers.

Acrobat 2017 is End of Life.  Adobe ended it in June 2022.

For security & compatibility reasons, you should use the latest versions of Acrobat.

FREE Acrobat Reader -- view, comment, print & sign PDF.

Paid Acrobat Pro -- the complete solution for creating and saving PDF.

    Hope that helps.

I am not asking for support as the word is ordinarily understood.   I just want to know if  Adobe has voided  perpetual licences for Adobe Acrobat  2017?  - Licenses which have been paid for by the purchaser.

that message isn't because of a revoked (or voided) license.  it's because the serial number and installation file aren't a match.

Thank you.   I saw in one of the links that you posted:  "It may be blocked due to misuse – or because we no longer support new activations of outdated software and apps"  - So if understand correctly,  my new in the box copy of Acrobat Pro 2017 which was certified to work with both Windows 2010 and 2011,  and has a perpetual license,  but it can't be registered because Adobe wants me to rent its software.   Is that correct?.  If so, I don't think this is a fair business practice.   (The sofware is working as if it is activated, but the seriel number can't be registered.  Does this mean that I can expect it to stop working?)

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Download and Install forum.

Where and when did you purchase it?

If not from Adobe, it is likely counterfeit, pirated, or sold illegally.
