Correct answer kglad

1. if you ever published your serial number publically previous to this, that would account for the ban

2. don't publish personal data in public forums

3. if you weren't able to deactivate cs6 on the computers with the previous installs, you can no longer activate cs6 even if your serial numbers weren't revoked.

CS6 is an unsupported, outdated product. It's 10+ years past its 'replace me' date.

Buy a supported product that will install on your current equipment.

Hi kglad, I'm here for similar reasons to this fellow, I had my hard drive fail and had to start fresh. I was able to successfully download, reinstall, and activate CS6, but when firing up InDesign it told me that my serial # is already in use by the max of 2 computers and have 31 days to deactivate one of them. Adobe really will/can not deactivate the "old" computer's copy if I were to get ahold of them? My CS6 programs still run perfect and I'm not interested in giving more money to Adobe. 😕😕

@djdragonfire13

correct, adobe cannot/will not deactivate for you.

the only way to deactivate is using a computer that has an activated copy.

if your indesign is part of suite, when it reaches the end its 30 day trial, all other suite apps will do the same.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
