Unable to uninstall CS6

Hi all, I'm a CC Client (LR & PS) but before I used a CS6 version. Now, I want to uninstall the CS6 version but I can't...

I startet to follow all the steps indicated here : Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

After uninstalling with the Config panel, the folders, files and programs still exists on the hard drive.

I tried to use the Cleaner Tool, but I have an issue with it. When I'm asked to select what I want to remove, I select 7. CS6 only.

On the next screen, I'm asked to "Clean all" !   I don't want to remove all the Adobe software, but just the CS6 version.

Here is the whole process in screenshots : https://ton.twitter.com/1.1/ton/data/dm/1067688191988248580/1067688131938476033/jR3B6hm2.jpghttps://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/28/181128074813545147.png

What can I do ?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the update, TheYoda.

If you have already used the uninstallers, then you will need to remove all Adobe applications to remove the shared components used by Creative Suite and Creative Cloud applications, TheYoda.

Are the CS6 applications currently interfering with your use of Photoshop CC and Lightroom Classic CC?  If so, then please complete the following steps to remove Creative Suite 6 from the computer.

  1. Uninstall all Adobe applications using the steps listed in Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps
  2. Download and run a fresh copy of the CC Cleaner Tool from Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
  3. Reinstall Photoshop CC and Lightroom Classic CC by following the steps listed in Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps

As previously mentioned by PeruBob you will want to make sure and save any presets or plug-ins in a separate location.  You can then look at importing them into Photoshop CC.

Please update this discussion if you have any questions, TheYoda.  You may also want to consider leaving the remainder of the Creative Suite 6 installation if disk space is not a significant concern and if Photoshop and Lightroom Classic CC are currently running successfully.

TheYoda, thanks for posting. I have moved your discussion to the correct forum for this inquiry.

If I understand it you currently have Photoshop CC, CS6, and Lightroom CC installed is that correct?  Did you already uninstall Photoshop CS6 through the control panel, TheYoda?

If you have any additional questions then please update this public forum discussion, TheYoda.

CC Cleaner gets rid of the bad stuff, So I suggest you remove all.  Then reinstall all the files you need.  Keep a back-up before using CC Cleaner so you can get anything that is related to your custom install (Brushes Plugins actions etc).  Then grab them as needed after you re-install.
