Unable to update apps in Creative Cloud

I'm using CC on Windows 10. My problem is that several apps (primarily After Effects and Premiere) don't update. They seem to hang at anywhere between 30-45%. I had been able to update Premiere, but since AE wouldn't update, the Dynamic Link doesn't work. So I tried to install the previous version of Premiere, and that hangs up as well. Can anyone offer help? This is really impacting my work.

I had a similar problem, albeit on a Mac.

In my case, the apps in question were Photoshop and Lightroom.

Creative Cloud updates would remain stuck at 20.2 % or somthing like that.

As an initial reaction, I uninstalled CC, but wasn't able to reisntall it no matter what I tried. I would always end up with the dreaded Error 146.

After hours of trying every possible solution listed online (based on feebdack from Adobe Troubleshooting, Customer Support, Apple forums, Reddit etc), I was left with no option but to:

a) Handover my system through remote access to Adobe (which the Adobe support agent strongly suggested I do)

b) Reintall my OS.

Of course, since option a) was something I wasn't completely comfortable with, I decided to reinstall of the OS only, keeping personal data intact. No success.

The second try was a wipe and fresh install of the OS. This semes to have solved the problem. I was able to download a fresh copy of CC, update it and then went on to download Photoshop, Lightroom etc. No issues whatsoever.

Ultimately, it's not a graceful solution but it will save a lot of time and frustration.
