Uninstallation completed with errors

So my apps weren't working so i was going to try to uninstall them. CC wasn't working either. so i go to control panel and uninstall creative cloud and it gives me this message "Uninstallation of Creative Cloud desktop completed with errors"

It didn't even uninstall it. So i use the Adobe Cleaner tool to uninstall and that even says it completed uninstallation with errors and i can't reinstall CC cause when i do it dont' work right and its out of date. so i think this error might be a reason why when i reinstall its still all the same and nothing is working. i made a different post about a subject that might be linked with this http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1442218

Please help me! ive been dealing with problems for days and nothing is working!

Thank you. I did all of this. From there, I got error code: 201.

If you still get error code 201, try installing app from direct download.

Important :

1) Make sure that Adobe Creative Cloud is not listed under Control Panel> Program Features.

2) Adobe Creative Cloud must not be present under C: > Program Files(x86) > Adobe.   If its present , rename it as mentioned in earlier steps.

Steps for direct download installation process:

Step 1)

Click on below link and open CS 6 download page , do not download anything from there , simply keep it open.

Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications

Step 2)

Once the CS 6 download page is opened , click on below link , it will download CC standalone installer Zip file , extract it and then right click on Setup.exe and select run as Administrator option .

Still same?? let us know , we will need to check with error logs.

I'm getting the same error too, except it's Error Code 50. I tried to uninstall and reinstall CC, but with no luck. Does the same solution work with it?

Hi Irishoffspring. I followed the procedure just like you posted and I'm still getting the error that says that the app is missing or corrupt. Is there any way to fix this?

I am unable to log into Creative Cloud from Windows.

I followed the instructions for uninstalling and got an error message "Uninstallation of Creative Cloud desktop completed with errors."

The http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 link sends me into a list of things to search for. It doesn't have a direct link to solve my question.

Where is Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers?

That's okay.

Navigate to C:> Program Files(x86) >Adobe.

Open Adobe folder and if present rename Adobe Creative Cloud folder to Adobe Creative Cloud-old.

Make sure that Adobe Creative Cloud is not listed under Control Panel> Program and Features.

Then try to re-install Creative Cloud app again .

Hi Irishoffspring,

Welcome to Adobe Forum,

Please utilize the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/.

Once the software is removed you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/message/4396277#4396277?tstart=0 to reinstall the software.

OR

Refer to

http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html

It should work.

Regards,

Rajshree

the first link you gave me didn't help. the link inside that link (the video) wasn't there. I have now deleted the opm.db file. Should i try reinstalling Creative Cloud Desktop?

The problem isn't so much out of date with the check mark. but the program itself Creative Cloud is out of date and everything in it. I can't dowload After Effects CC for example, it gives me cs6 and it doesn't even work. My problem i don't think anyone else has had cause of googled and looked in the discussions and have found nothing, ive been in a chat with a Adobe Support person and that didn't even help
