Uninstalling and Installing a digitally delivered application

Hello,

I have an issue.  I own Adobe Acrobat XI Professional but for some reason the last automatic update I uploaded has changed my program to Adobe Acrobat Standard XI,  Thus, I cannot even get to the chat support to help me reload my application.  I use the professional version for my business, I am self-employed,  Also, I was told to email the forum at forum@adobe.com so that a chat support could assist me.  The email bounced back.  I am getting very frustrated since this is causing me to lose hours of productive work.

Can anyone please assist me?  Thank you,

https://accounts.adobe.com/ then click Plans & Products at the top to find a list of your programs and serial numbers

You then download and install the version that matches your serial number

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

-for non-Cloud programs you need to DE-activate before uninstalling

    -http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html (and uninstall)

-using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

-Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

    -and 5 steps in reply #1 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2144928

For non-Cloud programs you would download the installer, not the cloud manager

kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2081216 may help

    John,

Thank you. Also, when I reinstall will it be the original that I purchased or the most up,dated version? I don't want the most updated version. I realized that I do have Adobe XI Standard but when I called they said I had the professional version. I think the most recent updates changed my formatting and editing capabilities. These changes made it more difficult to edit PDFs.

    Once again, thank you.

    Best,

    Marcy
