Serial number on the back of the Adobe CS4 CD package not accepted ("not a valid serial number") on install of CS4 on Windows 10 computer.

I am having a similar problem. CS4 was working fine on my systen then 2 nights ago Windows does an update that has resulted in the serial numbers no longer being recognised. Uninstalled CS4 after talking with Support and did a clean install but still same problem. Purchased directly from Adobe 7 years ago. What would the Windows update have done?

Not the same issue. I have the serial number on the package but when I enter it during the install it is not accepted. This may be a new installed because I do not find the serial number among my registered Adobe products.

You might want to doublecheck that. The main issue is that CS4 and Windows 10 are years apart and there are instances where CS4 simply will not install/activate on a Windows 10 system due to incompatibility.
