Hello,

How can I unsubscribe from the Creative Cloud before it rolls over into Adobe Stock?

I had a painful experience unsubscribing from creative cloud last week over chat The person helping me apparently was instructed to make it difficult to unsubscribe. He read from a script that included trying to sell a lower tier plan, then when I said I just want to unsubscribe, he tried to sell me yet a lower tier plan. It took about 20 minutes of asking then demanding that he simply process by request, which he finally did. Then I asked if he refunded the $84 monthly charge from that morning that prompted me to cancel my subscription. He hadn't, and that took another few minutes to complete. I am not sure how anyone thinks this is good for the brand to waste half an hour of a customer's time with sales pitches that were not welcome, especially when Adobe made signing up for a subscription as easy as humanly possible with a few clicks.

I agree that it is not good customer service, but most (maybe all?) businesses try to either 'upsell' to more product or 'downsell' to a lesser product to keep you as a customer

 

I recently went to a new barbershop (new to me) and will never go back... I said that all I wanted was a haircut, and the barber tried to 'upsell' me twice... first for a shampoo, next for a neck and shoulder massage... the cut was OK but I will never go back due to the selling tactics
