Unused login and license

Hello

We are "moving" from personal purchased licenses (by credit card) to a centerlised location

we have cancelled credit card on the old licenses and moving users gradully to licenses purchased by the company (adminconsole.adobe.com - via company login)

simple question - does old subscriptions get cancelled automatically when removing their payment or do the incur debt?

if the latter is correct I need assistance on how to remove old subsciptions
