Update button not clickable for new apps

I am trying to update 5 of my apps (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc.). I see the blue Update button and the link to update all but when I click either of those nothing happens. I was able to update older versions of my apps but the 2015 versions will not install.

Hi,

This could be an issue with the Creative Cloud desktop application it self, which could be fixed after uninstalling and reinstalling it.

The following link might help you with the uninstall : Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

In order to download and install it follow : Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial

Before you start uninstalling the creative cloud, Kindly confirm if you have a Windows computer or Mac?

Can I just say, given how much I have to pay for this, I shouldn't have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app ... this is the fifth time in two weeks I've had to do this just in order to get the updates. Not acceptable.

before reinstalling the cc app, reset it:

To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, try to repair
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails go ahead and uninstall/reinstall per the above link

if that fails, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Hi kglad

Thanks for the response. I always try a refresh but then edning up have to do a repair or uninstall / reinstall which generally fixes the problem.

However, my main point is why should I have to do this every time I have an app update?

I pay a lot of money for the software and am not happy that I can't just click 'update'!!

Thanks again

sign out and then back in to your cc desktop,  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/sign-in-out-activate-apps.html

if you still see a problem attach a screenshot showing the problem.
