update downloads stalling

Hi,

I initially had problems with the creative cloud updater just sticking at 40% and not budging.  Tried restarting several times with it stalling at various % but not completing.

Following the support guidelines I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall but each time it gets to the download, it too stalls and won't go past a point, it never finishes.

Its currently on 16% and has been for half an hour.

I have used the activity monitor to close any hanging processes, I have cleaned the OOB folder.

Can someone help?

clear your temp or tmp folders and make sure they have permissions for all users.

I haven't changed anything, and it was all working last week.

Can you give me any more info on where these folders are and how to change any permissions.
