Update Issues

I just updated most of my programs yesterday. Now when I open from Bridge any file..... .pdf, .indd, .psd...they default open to After Effects even though for example the .psd files say default with Photoshop when I right click and say "open with"....I don't understand what when wrong or how to fix it...but its annoying!
