Update Lightroom CC

I have been prompted to run a down load in order to update my Lightroom. On each occasion however the following error message appears "The download appears corrupted. Please try to download again (U43M1D205)"  Repeating the process delivers the same error message.  Please help.

What EXACT version of LR are you using. Go to the Help menu in LR and select System Info then post the first 5 lines from the dialog window that comes up in a reply to this discussion.

There is LR (no CC or anything after it) which is the Cloud base, centric, version and then there is LR Classic which is the traditional computer desktop version. There is also LR Mobile which is for mobile devices that use either Apple iOS or Android as an operating system.

What LR are you asking about.
