Update not applicable premiere pro

Yes, I'm a little late but I'm trying to update Premiere Pro 5 to 5.5.2 because the eye dropper doesn't function. I downloaded the 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and 5.0.3 updates - no problem. The Adobe download page then skips the 5.0.4 for Electronic Downloads (which I did) and next is 5.5.1. But when try to download 5.5.1 I get an error message saying the update is not applicable. So I'm stuck.

Using 2009 iMac

OS - 10.7.5

Any help would be much appreciated.

As I remember, version 5.5 was a PAID upgrade, not a free upgrade to version 5.0

Since 5.5 is no longer sold, there will be no way to upgrade

You may still buy Creative Suite 6

Reid, Premiere pro 5 is now end of life, we have limited support for the same. Here is what you can try: Troubleshoot update issues | CS5, CS5.5, CS6

To download and install updates manually: Product updates
