How do I know the current version of Photoshop/ Bridge and how do I update/ download that recent version? Most s/w has an option on uploading to the most recent vversion, but Adobe help only leads to a phone number for purchase.

Here is a link to a page where you can manually update your software.  It should identify the revision of the update.

    Direct Updates
    -----------------

    https://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Usually if you look under Help -> About in the main menu bar it will identify the current version of the software on your machine.

    Hello Ned,

    Thank you for providing support.

My wife is the photographer, I just install and update as required.

On the Macbook pro OS 10.8.5 it is CS5 12.0 x64

On the iMac OS 10.7.5 it is CS5 12.0.4 x64

I want to know what the actual version is so I know when to get the

    update to the most recent.

When I go into the link provided it shows plug ins etc yet I don't know

which ones are actually in the CS5.

( We do have CS6 installed)

My wife can hang up Bridge. Which starts the update/ version comparison.

    Any idea?

Or do I just go to the photoshop portion and select update from the help

    menu?

    Thanks, ..Peter
