Update version number confusion

Question

I just confusing between Application Version and The information about The new version available, for example: 
My latest Adobe InDesign version is 20.0.1, however in  the Creative Cloud Desktop mention it that V20.0.1 update is available...as per screenshot attached.
Please explain me what is the meaning of this, is bug?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
