I updated creative cloud on my windows 7 desktop, this failed with error code 50, cancelled the update, then tried again this time the update went ahead as normal however on completion. All my creative cloud short cuts etc had disappeared and windows told me that the creative cloud exe file no longer existed.

Ok I thought I will reinstall and take it from there, however the CC web page will only allow me to repay[my next subscription is not due until June, so that is a no no,] the question is how do I get CC back my copies of Photoshop and Lightroom appear to be working normally and tell me that they are up to date Help

uninstall (via control panel) any and all cc programs/apps.

clean your computer of cc (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6)

then reinstall your apps, Adobe: Creative, marketing, and document management solutions

Tried doing that but the site keeps telling me I already have the programme but I can purchase another one under another adobe ID, tried the chat line but am in a queue that doesn't appear to be moving, so thank you for your reply looks like I will have to ring Adobe on Mon morning that should be fun

if you mean your cc app lists (properly) uninstalled programs as still being installed, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed
