updates and programs not opening

This is the second update (PS v 21.2.4) that has caused errors with all programs with CC. unable to update or open any program. imac Catalina version 10.15.7. Last time I deleted CC and re-installed, will I have to do this for every update? any one else have a fix or having this problem?
