Updates to Photoshop CC don't seem to work.

I've installed Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC and Bridge CC, and they seem to work properly.

Several times a day, the update dialogue appears, announcing that updates are available (bug fixes). Several times I've clicked the blue Update buttons, and they appear to show the updates being installed (the bar progresses to 100% and the green check mark appears.) But then the next day the same dialogue appears, announcing updates available.

I can't tell whether the updates failed to install, despite the indicators showing they did. Or if the updates did install, maybe the update manager can't figure that out.

Thanks greatly for any help you can give me.

check one of apps version number before and after applying an update to see if the update is being applied.

My current Bridge CC version is 6.0.1.6

Current Extension Manager CC version is 7.1.1.32

Current Photoshop CC version is 14.1.2 x 64

Current Camera Raw CC version is 8.3.0.141

I updated all the above again today. The version numbers were identical, ie unchanged, before and after the "update."

I see that others seem to be experiencing the same problem.

you're updated.  there's a cc problem (i believe) that's failing to recognize that apps have already been updated. and i haven't seen a solution, yet.

in the meantime, click preferences>general>untick show notifications if you want to stop the repeated update notices.
